AAMFTCA Approved Courses

Clinical Supervision and Approved Supervisor Refresher Course

This 6 hour workshop is designed to provide supervisors with a refresher course that focuses on current literature and issues in supervision. The workshop satisfies the five-hours of didactic and interactive instruction required for AAMFT Approved Supervisors to renew their designation for an additional five-year term. The course also satisfies the BBS 6 hour Clinical Supervision requirement for licensure renewal. The course involves a series of readings, presentations, discussions, videotapes, experiential activities and written activities. This course is appropriate for:

1. Supervisors requiring continuing education units.
2. AAMFT Approved Supervisors seeking to fulfill the 5-hour Supervisor Refresher course.
3. Supervisors interested in updating their knowledge of supervision as related to: current literature, law and ethics, contextual variables.

Cost of this workshop is: $110 for AAMFT members; $140 for non-members.
